Who I am
This site belongs to me, Julia Heldmann, a content creator. I'm the one responsible for your data here. Questions? Email me at julia.heldmann.social@gmail.com.
What happens when you sign up
You type your email on my guide page or in the news box on my link page, and it goes straight to Kit (kit.com), the email tool I use. Kit then sends you one email: the guide email with a download button, or, if you signed up for my news, a welcome email with a button that confirms your sign-up and gets you the guide. You don't have to give me your email, but without it I can't send you the guide.
What's saved
- your email address
- whether you signed up for my news (the tick box on the guide page or the news box on my link page)
- when you signed up, and whether you tapped the button in the email
- whether you open my emails and tap the links in them (Kit counts this for every email it sends)
Kit may also record technical details of your sign-up, like your IP address and a rough location. I don't ask for your name.
What I use it for
- To email you the guide.
- Only if you signed up for my news: to email you now and then when I make something new, free or paid.
If you only asked for the guide, I won't send you news emails.
Why I'm allowed to (for readers in the EU)
Emailing you the guide you asked for is based on your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). The news emails are based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), and you can take it back any time.
Where it's kept and who sees it
In my Kit account. Kit is a company in the United States that stores and sends my emails for me. For readers in the EU: Kit uses EU-approved safeguards for this (the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). Only I can open my list. I don't sell it, and I don't share it with anyone else. If you reply to one of my emails, your reply lands in my Gmail (Google).
How long I keep it
- Signed up for my news and tapped the button: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.
- Only asked for the guide, never tapped the button, or unsubscribed: I delete it within 12 months (I clear those lists once a year), or right away if you ask.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time: every email from me has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, or just reply.
- Ask me to show you, correct or delete your data: email me and I'll reply within 20 days.
- If you're in the EU, you can also complain to a data protection authority.
Cookies and tracking
This site has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking pixels, and the fonts come from my own server. Like most servers, mine keeps a short technical log (IP address, time, page, browser type) for security. It's deleted after 14 days. My emails are different: Kit counts opens and clicks, as described above.
Instagram and TikTok
When you tap the Instagram or TikTok buttons, you leave my site, and their own privacy rules apply.

Qué datos se guardan: tu correo electrónico, si te suscribiste a mis novedades (la casilla en la página de la guía o el cuadro de novedades en mi página de enlaces), cuándo te registraste y si tocaste el botón del correo, y si abres mis correos y tocas sus enlaces (Kit lo registra en cada correo que envía). Kit también puede registrar datos técnicos de tu registro, como tu dirección IP y una ubicación aproximada. No te pido tu nombre.
Para qué los uso: no tienes que darme tu correo, pero sin él no puedo mandarte la guía.
- Para mandarte la guía por correo (finalidad principal).
- Solo si te suscribiste a mis novedades: para mandarte de vez en cuando un correo sobre algo nuevo que haga, gratis o de pago (finalidad secundaria). Si no te interesa, no te suscribas, o date de baja cuando quieras.
Dónde y cuánto tiempo: en mi cuenta de Kit (kit.com), una empresa de Estados Unidos que guarda y envía mis correos. Solo yo tengo acceso a mi lista. No vendo ni comparto tus datos con nadie más. Si respondes a uno de mis correos, tu respuesta llega a mi Gmail (Google). Si te suscribiste a mis novedades y tocaste el botón, guardo tus datos hasta que te des de baja o me pidas borrarlos. Si solo pediste la guía, no tocaste el botón o ya te diste de baja, los borro en un plazo de 12 meses (limpio esas listas una vez al año), o de inmediato si me lo pides.
Cookies y rastreo: este sitio no usa cookies, analítica ni píxeles de rastreo. Como casi todos los servidores, el mío guarda un registro técnico corto (dirección IP, hora, página y tipo de navegador) por seguridad; se borra a los 14 días. Kit sí registra si abres mis correos y tocas sus enlaces.
Tus derechos: puedes acceder a tus datos, corregirlos, borrarlos u oponerte a su uso (derechos ARCO), o retirar tu consentimiento. Solo escríbeme al correo de arriba y te respondo en un máximo de 20 días. Para darte de baja, usa el enlace que viene al final de cada correo mío, o solo respóndeme.
Cambios: si cambio este aviso, lo publico en esta página con la fecha nueva.
